When you click and drag the Eye Dropper button, Eye Dropper window is displayed.

– The magnified part of your screen.
– Eye Dropper menu.
– Info about the color you are about to capture. Click on the color values to copy to clipboard.
Eye Dropper Menu
Click the menu button to see Eye Dropper menu.
Zoom menu displays a set of magnifying options: 2x, 4x, 6x and 8x.
Sampling menu displays sample size options: Single pixel, 3×3 and 5×5. Click 3×3 or 5×5 to get average value of 9 or 25 pixels.
Magnifier Size can be Normal or Big. This changes the size of magnified area. We really recommend Big mode.
If Show Grid is checked, a grid on the magnified image will be displayed.
If Show Web Safe Info is checked, web safe warning will become visible when current color is not web safe.
If Auto Position is checked, Eye Dropper window will position itself according to color palette window’s and other windows’ position on the screen.
Save Image displayes a set of saving options. You can save the magnified image as PNG, BMP or GIF files.
Copy Image copies the magnified image to clipboard.
Keyboard shortcuts for Eye Dropper
Use navigation keys to select another pixel. Use Shift+navigation keys to move faster.
Press CTRL+1, CTRL+2 and CTRL+3 to change sampling size.
Press + and – keys to zoom in or zoom out. You can also use mouse scroll wheel.
Use CTRL+mouse scroll wheel to change magnifier size.
Press CTRL+G to show or hide grid.
Press CTRL+Enter to add selected color to the palette.
Press SHIFT+F10 to open Eye Dropper menu.
